Career so far
From a very early age I was intrigued by what made people do the things they do. This lead me into a 15+ year career in Human Resources (HR). I lived and travelled internationally for my role and focussed on helping develop leaders create engaged teams and employees to deliver high performance.
During 2015 I struggled to balance my career and family and found myself unhappy and dissatisfied. I took the risk to go self employed and heavily focus on leadership development through coaching and training rather than HR in its entirety. And I’m so glad I did, as I now love what I do, it no longer feels like work AND I get to spend the time I want to with my family and friends!
I work with both organisations and individuals focussing on enabling them to lead in their lives, reap the benefits and reach their potential in the workplace and at home.
Well I guess it’s not hard to work out that family is really important to me! I’m married to James and mum to William and Rex (dog!).
We love being outdoors, walking and exploring. That’s not always possible, so when the weather isn’t working for us you’ll find us watching a movie, playing a board game or eating at a nice restaurant (we’re foodies at heart!).
And I’m very much a mum taxi – Rugby, hockey, personal training, drums, friends and a whole host of other things keep me behind the wheel and travelling around Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire!
When I do get a spare moment, I like to curl up on the sofa with my kindle and read a book or watch a box set on Netflix.
