A question…

Today I sat in the park on my day off, no phone, no watch, no tablet, book or other distraction.

I lay on the grass, under the shade of trees and thought nothing, noticing how blue the sky is and how the trees and leaves sway and rustle in the wind!

I think I could do that every day, just lay on the bristles of the grass, leaves scattered all around, birds hopping and singing.

So my question today is, how have we become the people who pour ourselves in to a little hand held box, addicted to a life through a lens and denying our five senses real and beautiful experiences?
